Nude by Nature Makeup Review

Our first ever combined review.

Using Nude by Nature Mineral products we compared the results by using the same products and application on two different skin types. Our skin colour is very much the same but Lauren has pink under tones where as I (Nikita) have yellow undertones.

All the products that were used are by Nude except for;

Concealer: Tea Tree Concealer, shade 1 by the Body Shop.
Brushes: (except the kabuki) Concealer brush by Eco Tools, Eye Shadow brush by Eco Tools and the Blush Brush by Essence.

Nude Products;

Natural Mineral Cover in Medium skin tone.
Natural Mineral veil
Natural Mineral Bronzer
No. 2 Contour Mineral Eye Shadow
Pure pout Natural Mineral Lip gloss
Natural Mineral Waterproof Eyeliner in Black
Natural Mineral Mascara in Onyx Black

This is the before pictures.

1. Apply Concealer to any redness, blemishes and under eyes
2. Apply primer to all over the face and neck only using a small amount and try not to rub into much because we don't want it it to sink in straight away (so that the powder will stick)
3. Next apply the mineral cover all over your face and neck using your kabuki  brush
4. Next apply the mineral veil over you face and neck to set the makeup also using your kabuki brush
5. Apply bronzer on your cheeks using a blush brush
6. Using mineral eye shadow cover your eyelid using an eyeshadow brush (you can use more than one colour but we just used one for this review)
7.  Now using mineral eyeliner create a single line on your eye lid near your eyelashes
8. Apply mineral mascara on your upper and lower eye lashes.
9. Apply mineral lip gloss.

After results

So as you can see this mineral makeup has great coverage for both pink undertones and yellow undertones.

Nude by nature can be found at target and some other pharmacies

Beauty

Hey girls

So not to long ago we all went to a youth camp with our church. It was a great weekend that was filled with games, beach activities, music and the best part the sessions were when we listened to our minister talk about some stuff. One of the topics was inner beauty and I just wanted to share with you guys the video that was shown because I truly believe it is true and can make a difference in you life.

Hair Trouble?

Hi Girls!

Today I’m going to share with you a product I have only just discovered in the last week. I have used it twice and already can see an incredible difference in my hair.

Earlier this week I was talking to my cousin. Her little three year old niece recently started ballet and has been going through a months worth of full-dress rehearsals, right down to putting ringlets in her hair. You must understand; this little girl has that silky white-blonde thin hair of a baby and they were using curling irons, blow dryers, hair spray and constantly tugging and pulling at her fine locks for a month. After this, her mum took her to the hairdresser. The hairdresser said, we’re going to have to cut this off, there’s nothing I can do. This little girl was so upset and her mum called my cousin asking for help. My cousin sent “Edgy Smoothe n Grume” to the little girl to “make her hair better.” After one use they went to the hairdresser and were told “whatever you’re using; don’t stop”, leaving with only 1cm cut off the bottom of her hair.

Yes I know they are different days. But I didn't think to take a photo.
But trust me when I say MY HAIR WAS ALWAYS BAD :)
I heard this and jumped at the opportunity to try the product. My hair has always been strawy, frizzy, fuzzy, tangled, wild, untameable, dry, course and every other synonym you can think of for awful hair. I have used this product twice! Already I can feel and see the difference. The first thing I noticed was the texture. It went from course and straw-like to soft and smooth. My colour and shine has reappeared where it always took a heap of product to get it to look shiny and smooth but at the cost of my rich colour and having a greasy look. Even my split ends seem to be reduced!

“Edgy – Smooth n Grume – Feed n Seal Styler” is an amazing product that is seriously worth testing for yourself. It doesn’t have a greasy feel or look; not even on your hands. AND it smells absolutely amazing

This product is similar to a leave-in moisturiser but at the same time it’s like a styling cream. It is to be applied to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair when it is either damp or dry (which is great for lazy people like me). And it is suitable for all hair types. I have wavy hair and found that it neatened and emphasised my waves. It advertises it will tame your hair and seal split ends and fly-aways. As well as having a colour lock and UV shield formula.

This product is absolutely worth trying. I obtained it from a local hairdresser for $17 (200mL tube), which is a descent price to pay for something of such great quality and depending on how often you use it depends on how long it lasts. But when you use an absolute maximum of a 20cent coin in size (not even I use that much) it’s very good value.

Below you will find a link to the Just Cuts website. It was the only place I could find the Edgy brand and if you browse through this hairdressers products you will find numerous other Edgy products, which I hope to try and review in the future.

Thanks for reading!

And I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!
